     When you stop by Great Harvest Bread Company in Kahala, you are in for more than just a mouthwatering treat. From the moment you walk through our door, you will be greeted with a smile and a free slice of bread. We are your neighborhood bakery and believe customer service is just as important as delivering the finest breads and sweets. We are a close knit, fun loving family that enjoys working and playing together.  While we are working, you will often hear us laughing and singing. Outside of work, we have just as much fun together seeing movies, bowling, hiking, or indulging in our favorite activity…EATING!  

     Since 2004, Great Harvest Bread Co. has catered to people in Hawaii with a craving for tasty hand crafted homemade breads and sweets. Nothing about Great Harvest Kahala is ordinary, especially our products.  We believe in milling our own wheat kernels daily to provide you with the freshest, 100% Whole Wheat flour. With breads like 3 Cheese Garlic, Honey Whole Wheat, Cinnamon Chip, Flax Oatbran, White Choc. Blueberry, or Cinnamon Raisin Walnut to name a few, we’re sure we have something for your taste buds.  We also have a great selection of unique sweets that range from pumpkin spice bars to mint chocolate chip cookies to low fat muffins.  Take a bite of one of our various selections of breads and sweets, and you will understand why we were voted “Best Bread” in Hawaii by The Honolulu Magazine 2009 and a Top 3 finalist for “Best Bakery” by the Honolulu Advertiser’s Best of the Best 2009.

As of September 2008, Great Harvest Kahala has expanded our services to sandwiches.  We have a wide variety of signature sandwiches to choose from, such as our Grilled Cheese sandwich, Louisville Chicken Salad, Cali Cobb, and many others.  Our sandwiches are made to order, and in case you are hungry for a hot meal, you also have the option to have your sandwich grilled for a Panini style sandwich.
